Senior Project Manager
Bill McCall joined Metro Strategies in 2016 to expand service into Indiana and manage our Crown Point office. He brings 23 years of experience in public relations strategy and implementation with in-depth knowledge of the public and private sector in the northwest Indiana region. Bill is a proven public relations professional who focuses on developing and implementing outreach and communication campaigns and public relations tactics to advance client goals. For Metro Strategies, Bill is managing the public outreach program for the $200M 80/90 Pavement Upgrade for a Superior Highway (PUSH) project for the Indiana Toll Road Concession Company. He has experience, knowledge and relationships in the northwest Indiana region where Metro Strategies will focus its efforts.
In addition to his excellent public relations skills, Bill has a passion and talent for developing websites. Bill will be developing and maintaining all of Metro Strategies' project websites, including Metro Strategies' very own website. He has a strong propensity for being able to blend the creative side with the technical aspects of a project to convey the intended message to each targeted audience.
Bill has a B.A. in Political Science and Business Administration from the University of Indianapolis and previously served as Deputy Mayor of the City of Crown Point, Indiana. In this role, Bill gained valuable experience interacting directly with the public, press and elected officials. He was also responsible for increasing visibility and awareness on a variety of issues, which included producing public relations materials such as press releases, fact sheets, talking points, statements and speeches. While serving as Marketing Manager for one of the oldest architectural and engineering firms in Indiana, Bill was responsible for generating strategic ideas surrounding presentations, events, branding and communications. With this knowledge, Bill founded Civic Image, Inc., a full-service marketing and advertising firm serving a variety of clients, including political campaigns.
From public service to consulting and agency ownership, Bill's range of experience and knowledge of the region offers proven methods to articulate key information to any potential audience, including stakeholders, partners, the public, industry media and general media.
Bill stays active as a continuing education instructor and clinic coordinator for USA Hockey coaches and through his work as the founder of the not-for-profit Crown Point Track Club for local children.
